Judy Cunningham Insel, age 59, gained her angel wings on Thursday, November 30, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Texarkana, Arkansas to Lloyd Delbert and Sarah Alice (Morgan) Cunningham on August 13, 1958. Judy was a manager in the accounting department for 13 years at Weldon Contractors, in Pantego, Texas. In her down time, she was an avid poker player, and enjoyed motorcycle trips. Judy was a loving wife, aunt, friend, daughter, mother and grandmother, who loved shopping and going out to eat. She found pure happiness and joy in giving to others, and seeing them happy. She is preceded in death by her father Lloyd and brother Lloyd Wayne Cunningham. Left to cherish her memory is her mother Alice; husband of 34 years, Johnnie Lee Insel Jr.; son Johnnie Lee Insel III and his wife Tashonda; daughter Jessica Insel; grandchildren Joseph King III, Rhyleigh Insel, Za’Kye Johnson, Jada Pipkins and one on the way, Johnnie Lee Insel IV; sister Patricia Sisk and husband James; sister Sarah Harris and husband Bill; sister Sue Ann Lyon along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, December 4th, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving with interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following. The family will receive friends between 2:00 and 4:00pm, Sunday, December 3, 2017 for visitation at the funeral home.
