Betty Jo Thomas, age 82, died Friday, December 01, 2017. Betty was born in Dallas, Texas on December 7, 1934 to Marshall and Emma Mayes. Betty was a resident of Arlington, Texas for 34 years. She worked 35 years for Central Freight Lines in Irving, where she held the title of Billing Supervisor, before retiring in 1999. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Glenn Smith and brother James Marshall Mayes. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Vickie Steward and husband Don of Justin; Rhonda Price of Houston; Robert Smith and wife Jessica Ghazal of Austin; grandchildren Jonathan Price, Chris Steward Wes Smith, Jordan Smith, Sofia Smith, Michael and Shelby Steward; great grandchildren Lucas Steward, Levi Smith, and Summer Steward. Graveside services will be held 2PM on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Restland Memorial Gardens in Dallas, Texas.
