Winnie Lou Zook, a longtime resident of Irving, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011. She was born September 14, 1915 in Hughes Springs, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Irving and the Daughters of the American Revolution, White Oak Chapter. Preceded in death by her husband Myron Zook, son David Zook and wife Bernice, survivors include her granddaughter Donna Rolater of Irving; grandsons Steve Zook of Irving, and Tom Zook of Plano; granddaughter Tina Jackson of Terrell; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and sister Anna Myrle Zook of Delphi, Indiana. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. The family will receive friends 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
