Condolence: Much love, prayers, and blessings sent yalls way!

I am afraid I only knew Mrs. Overton as the sweet bride who sat next to Coach O in church. She was gracious enough to let me steal a hug on my way from the choir loft all those Sunday mornings when the youth choir used to sing in early service.

Coach O had made a profound impact on my brother as he played under his leadership. And my brother was gracious enough to introduce me and share this giant of a man.

But I imagine the one with the most grace was Mrs. Overton herself. She gladly shared her husband with countless teenagers as she did her own role modeling! And the love with which Coach O spoke of and cared for his beloved, testified to the incredible woman she was.

Her love and her legacy lives on in all those she touched, directly and indirectly. Thank you Mrs. Overton for being beautifully you!
