Bonar “Bo” Elston of Irving passed away July 27, 2015. He was born on August 14, 1936 in Kemp, Texas to Jasper Lee and Ollie Lee Elston. Bo served in the United States Army before going to work as a truck driver. He was a member of Irving Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his parents and sister June Gentry; he leaves behind his wife Linda Elston of Irving; son Mike Elston and wife Sandy of Bedford; his nephew Bobby McCarty of Irving; brothers Clifford Elston and wife Donna of Kemp, Texas; Jerry Elston and wife Pam of Chandler, Texas; granddaughter Lauren Sutterer of Fort Worth; grandson Nick Sutterer and wife Laura of Fort Worth. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM at Irving Church of Christ with Mr. Jim Crouch officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
