Condolence: Gordy was a dear childhood friend of mine back in the 1960s when I lived in Irving and attended St. Luke's school. I loved both him and his family, who I still recall quite vividly after all these years. I was treated like part of the family after going to his home (often after mass at church on Sundays), and enjoyed wonderful home cooking courtesy of the Juaregars. He came out to California after we moved from Texas and we had a wonderful time at Disneyland. My deepest condolences and love to the family. I did not know he was born in Illinois (as was I). Rest in Peace, Edmundo. Love, Patrick
