Christine Gilliland of Irving passed away May 8, 2016. She was born on April 13, 1922 in Irving, Texas to Rufis and Elizabeth (Rogers) Welborn. Christine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a life time member of The Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Gilliland; 4 sisters, and 4 brothers and leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter Jackie Simmons and husband Doug of Irving; Judy Ryan and husband Pete of Santa Fe, Texas; brother Billy Welborn and wife Nancy of Irving; 4 grandsons; four great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons and one great-great-grandson and numerous other family members. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 13, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Roberts officiating.
