Timothy James DeFrank, Azle resident, died on June 19, 2016 at age 54. His life journey began in Midland, Texas where he was born to Ben A. and Maxine (Goodbar) Darby on June 10, 1962. Tim enjoyed a management career in the insurance industry. He was preceded in death by his beloved husband, Dan DeFrank, his parents, two infant nieces Alyssa and Elizabeth and brother-in-law, Curtis Hearne. Tim will never be forgotten and forever missed for the loving brother, uncle and person he was by his sister Pam Hearne of Plano; nephews and nieces Jason Hearne of Dallas, Carrie Hearne and husband Fernando Miramontes of Richardson, Melissa Montague, Matthew DeFrank and wife Lisa, Rachel DeFrank, Mary DeFrank, Peter DeFrank and wife Renee, Benjamin DeFrank and Andrew DeFrank; brother-in-laws Thomas DeFrank and wife Melanie Cooper of Washington DC, Michael DeFrank and wife Brenda of Dallas, David DeFrank and wife Leslie of Euless and Dennis DeFrank and wife Lisa of Arlington; great nieces and nephews Alissa Hearne, Michael Miramontes, Maddie DeFrank, Caden DeFrank and Michael Montague; along with lifelong friend Susan Powell. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving. The family requests memorial donations in Tim’s memory to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org/donate.
