Obituary for Warren W. "Bill" Thomson Jr.

Warren W. "Bill"  Thomson Jr.
Warren W. “Bill” Thomson, Jr., age 80, died Thursday, July 7, 2016. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 21, 1935; at that moment his father Warren William Thomson Sr., proudly passed on his family name that has continued. Warren proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who loved old cars and old movies; especially the ones featuring John Wayne. Warren retired as an Area Superintendent from El Paso Natural Gas, after nearly 40 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Phyllis Mae Thomson and brother Robert Thomson. Left to carry on his legacy is wife Florance Thomson; daughter Jennifer Kay Thomson; son Warren William Thomson III and wife Virginia K.; son Lee Byron Thomson and wife Jana; son Paul David Thomson; sister Barbara Boone and husband Edmond along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited between 6:00 – 7:30 pm, Monday, July 11, 2016 to Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery 11:30 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2016; committal with Military Honors immediately following. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 10, 2016, 4:30 – 5:30 pm at Chinn’s Chapel, 100 Chinn’s Chapel Ln., Copper Canyon, Texas 75077.
