Obituary for Carolyn Genise Wiliams (Flowers)
On July 31, 2016, Carolyn Genise Williams passed away peacefully in her home in Arlington, Texas.
Carolyn was born in Crestview, Florida on January 2, 1957 to Albert Flowers and Lucille (Daniels) Flowers. She was the third child born and the only girl, out of their six children. September 26, 1976 Carolyn married Melvin Williams, the father of her first born son Isaac “Jermaine” Flowers. The two would later change Jermaine’s name to Melvin Williams Jr. and have 3 more children; LaWanda Williams, T’Keyah Williams, and KaJuan Williams. She would also raise her first grandson, as a son; Donte Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Lucille and her brother Cornell Flowers. Left to cherish her memory (ies) are her brothers, Albert Jr. (Buster), Kent, Michael and Richard Flowers; her husband Melvin Williams Sr.; and her children Melvin Jr. (Jermaine), LaWanda, Donte, T’Keyah and Kajuan Williams; her seven grandkids (childen) Phoebe, Markese, Omunique, Braydon, Octavia, Kayla and Trinitee. Carolyn loved playing BINGO but more than anything she loved her children, grandchildren and entire family. She will be dearly missed! A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
