Obituary for Frank Eugene Parra

Frank Eugene Parra
Frank Eugene Parra, born in Massillon, OH on August 15th, 1929, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on the evening of August 8th, 2016. Frank entered into the car business at the ripe age of 21, and over the next several decades built a legacy for himself and his family eventually opening Frank Parra Autoplex which grew into an amazing place for so many. Along this journey he never took anyone or anything for granted, never thought himself any better than anyone, helped countless people in so many ways and helped so many go on to flourish into amazing people. The business never left his blood and he never stopped trying to help the next person or make the next deal. Frank lived life to the fullest, and didn’t leave a lot untouched in his eventful 87 years, it was a good run for Ole Uncle Frank! He is survived by his wife, Cathie Norris Parra, his sons Tim and Mike Parra, their spouses Bj and Michelle Parra, sister Bonnie Lee Brown, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, as well as Virgie Olio, his house manager for 20 plus years. Frank was loved by so many and until the end never let an opportunity pass to let his wit and humor bring a smile to anyone. He also had a passion for golf and Ohio State football, and shared those things with everyone whether they wanted it or not, but most did. Frank let a handshake mean his word and was a very generous man to anyone and everyone. He will be dearly missed by his family, as well as so many others, but definitely never be forgotten. Frank, don’t forget you are still going to need to holler FORE in heaven, that is unless they pass out helmets at the door. Rest in Peace, we love you!
