I have only seen him a few times over the years but always felt the old bond of friendship when we met and knew that he had grown into a man who still reflected the trustworthiness and loyalty to his friends and family that I honored in my old friend.

He was genuinely a very good guy and I feel privileged to have known him and had him for a friend for 65 years or so.
