Obituary for Jack B. Robbins

Jack B.  Robbins
Jack B. Robbins, age 84, died Thursday, September 8, 2016. He was born in Grayson County, TX on June 27, 1932. Jack served 2 years active duty in the U.S. Army then transferred to the Army reserves, where he served an additional 4 years, during the Korean Conflict. He was a driver for Crockett Concrete in Irving for 31 years until they closed, and after a short break he enjoyed working for F&R Machine for as long as he could. Jack was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, his family was his life. He is preceded in death by his sister. Left to cherish his memory is wife Jean Robbins; son Jack D. Robbins and wife Deena of Lewisville; son Kenneth Robbins and wife Susan of Canton; granddaughter Elizabeth Renick and husband Warren; granddaughter Shannan Norton and husband Eric; granddaughter Victoria Azizi and husband Hamid; grandsons Cody and Bret Robbins; 6 great grandchildren Lucas, Jackson, Reagan, Ian, August and Mason along with numerous other cousins and family who loved him dearly. A visitation will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, September 12, 2016 at King Cemetery in Aley, TX.
