Patsy R. Edwards, of Irving, died Monday, September 12, 2016 at Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center in Irving. She was born on February 18, 1934 to Wilburn Bingham and Muriel (Mounce) Bingham in Breckenridge, Texas. Always known as just Patt, she was a former office manager, homemaker, loving wife, dedicated mother and a true friend to all. Left behind to cherish her memory are husband Joe Edwards; daughter Yvonne Escobedo and her husband Mike, of Prosper; sister Dorothy McMillian and her husband David, of Burleson; brother Bob Bingham and his wife Doris, of Arlington; grandchildren Connor Escobedo and Scott Williams and wife Maylena; and great grandson Joseph Williams. Some special nephews include Mike Edwards, Gene Edwards and wife Judy, and Jimmy Edwards and wife Jene. Preceding Patt in death was both parents, brother Virgil Bingham and daughter Donna Williams. Funeral services will occur at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Dr. Jim Gerlach and Rev. Wallace Philpot will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
