Myrna “Big Mom” Hopkins, age 78, died surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was born on December 4, 1937 to Hercil Edell and Ophelia Arbutis (Mason) Roberts in Lynn County, Texas. Big mom loved and was loved deeply by everyone that met her, she had a special way of making everyone feel like they were her favorite and that they mattered. She is reunited in heaven with her Husband of 48 years Clint Wade Jr. and her son Terry Clark. Left to cherish her memory is son Kerry Hopkins and wife Kim of Graham; daughter Neena Hammond of Irving; daughter Angie Queen and husband Wayne of Grand Prairie; son Tracy Hopkins and wife Mary of Ft. Worth; grandson Eli Lucero of Irving; granddaughter Sarah Switzer and husband Charlie of Irving; grandson Sammy Dominguez and partner April Gray of Ft. Worth; granddaughter Krystal Dominguez and fiancé Jordan Gonzales of Euless; granddaughter Keilah Brown and wife Bailey of Ft. Worth; grandson Jimmy (JW) Hopkins of Graham; grandson Caleb Queen of Grand Prairie ; granddaughter Codi Queen and fiancé Cory Hughes of Grand Prairie; grandson Jeffery (Jam) Mills of Grand Prairie; granddaughter Bailey Mills of Grand Prairie; grandson Clint (Hoppy) Hopkins IIII and partner Brenda of Ft. Worth; grandson Taylor Hopkins and partner Madison of Ft. Worth; grandchildren Eric & Chloe Hopkins of Grand Prairie;12 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home between 6:00 and 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 15, 2016. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, September 16, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Frankie Bailey Officiating, with interment at Sowers Cemetery in Irving immediately following.
