Marion Lavon Bennight of Alba, Texas passed away September 22, 2016. He was born on August 3, 1930 in Mabank, Texas to George Marion and Louella (Hall) Bennight. Marion served his country in the US Army and later worked in the printing industry. Preceeded in death by his parents, wife Geneva Bennight and sister Jean Shelton. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters Karen and Tammy Bennight; son James Bennight all of Keller; sister Shirley Kirkpatrick of Mabank; nieces and nephews Sharon & Alex Arrizola; Randy & Nina Burgett; Kenny Burgett; Gena Robbins; Curtis and Rene Shelton; Sue & Tommy Follis and Renee & Danny Greene and numerous great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday September 27, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 28th at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with internment to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
