Ron Tripp, age 75, died Saturday, September 24, 2016. He was born in Ennis, Texas to Frank and Myra Lucille (Sills) Tripp on November 7, 1940. Ron began work back in the days of the punch card systems at Ennis Business Form, in Ennis and continued his career in data info, until his retirement from PageNet in 2001. He was a dedicated member and elder from February of 1979 until October 2000 at South MacArthur Church of Christ in Irving. A loving father, brother and grandfather, who will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory is wife Lilla; daughter Teresa Whisnant and husband John of Irving; son Jay Tripp and wife Johnnie of Irving; son Brian Tripp and wife Margie of Sugar Land; son George Tripp of Irving; sister Peggy Harrison and husband Greg of Ennis; grandchildren David, Tiffany and husband Josh, Meagan and husband Brian Scott, Brandon and wife Christina, James and wife Lauren, Allison and husband Jean Paul, Andrew, Luke, Trey, Tanner, Molly, and Cayden. Visitation will be at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home between 6:00 and 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2016. A funeral service will be held at Christ Church in Irving, 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Interment will be 2:00 pm, at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis Texas Wednesday, September 28, 2016. The family requests memorials to New Beginnings/New Life care of Christ Church at 1750 E. Airport Freeway Irving, TX 75062.
