Obituary for Frances E. Wochner (Byers)

Frances E. Wochner (Byers)
Frances E. Wochner of Frisco, TX passed away on September 30, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born April 23, 1924 to James and Addie Mae (Trempe) Byers in Irving. In June 1944 Frances married Alfred S. Wochner in Irving where they ran a small family dairy that sold milk on a retail basis locally until they retired in 1970. Removed from the labors of maintaining a dairy seven days a week, Frances and Alfred began what was to become a passion for travel, taking their RV across the country together and with local clubs. Frances was a loving, caring, sharing lady who was loved and made a lasting impression to all she met. Family always came first, and she dedicated her entire life to unselfishly care for those she loved so much. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Wochner and her daughter, Margie Laughlin. Survivors include her son, Gene and his wife, Diane, grandson, Brian Wochner, several step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4 at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be the Brown’s Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 5 at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at Oak Grove Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, or the charity of choice.
