Condolences

Condolence From: Doug Stover
Condolence: What a wonderful person! She was student council advisor when I was VP in 1977 and I was also her student aid. Spent so much time with her. Loved and admired her. She was such a great influence on me. Gone but never forgotten! My condolences to her family. Doug Stover

Condolence From: Shannon Swann Pritchard
Condolence: Mrs. Story was an administrator when I was a student at Mac ('74-'77) and I was in the band with her son, Richard. What a lovely family, and great role model in Mrs. Story! I was fortunate to know her. My condolences to Richard and the family.

Condolence From: Connie Cardwell Kilday
Condolence: Mrs. Story was my drill team sponsor at MacArthur. We were her last group of girls before she moved into administration. She graciously played the organ for our wedding in 1980.

She was and always will continue to be an inspiration to me and many fine women and many wonderful educators, both retired and still practicing. There were many teachers who have inspired me over the years, and Mrs. Regina Story is at the top of the list along with Jack Singley and Nancy Key! I was lucky to have many, many great teachers in Irving ISD....there were many at TJ Lee, Travis and Mac. Mrs. Story taught me how to believe in myself as educator through my time as a Cardette Leader. She taught me to teach with a vision, lead with confidence, and care for others with a giving heart. She will be missed, but her legacy lives on in those of us who were blest to have her in our lives and those whom we touch with her teachings.

I'll remember her deep voice and laugh fondly! I'll remember her looking over her glasses with that grin on her face and sometimes with that look that made you know what you just said or did might have been questionable....but again, always followed with her throwing her head back and laughing! I'll carry her in my heart forever! Heaven has gained a beautiful soul!

My deepest condolences to the family...George, Bob, and Richard and the rest. May the peace of the Lord be with you always.

Love and prayers,
Connie Cardwell Kilday
