LJ Boots  Hinton
LJ “BOOTS” HINTON was born January 1, 1934 in Dallas, TX to Dallas County Deputy Sheriff Ted Hinton and Grace Hicks Hinton. He passed away on December 5, 2016 in Arcadia, Louisiana. Boots was a curator for the Bonnie and Clyde Ambush Museum. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, John Hinton of Irving, TX, Chuck Hinton of Irving, TX, and Teddie Story of Irving, TX; and two grandsons. A memorial service for Boots will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Annex Building, 2452 Main Street (LA-154) in Gibsland, Louisiana. Pastor Wayne Howington of Gibsland United Methodist Church will officiate.Boots will receive Military Honors at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, in Dallas on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. where he will be inurned. All attendees should arrive at the cemetery fifteen minutes prior to the services. The family requests memorials be made to Irving Cares, www.irvingcares.org, or a charity of your choice.
