Walter ‘Richard’ White, of Irving, Texas, beloved son, husband, father and grandfather passed away December 25, 2016. He was born on August 8, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Hank and Virgie “Eads” White. Richard served in the US Army. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing dominos and washers and John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies. He is preceded in death by his father. Left behind to cherish his memory are wife Sheila White;mother Virgie White; daughter LaVenda White; son Keith White; 3 step-sons; 8 grandchildren; and numerous other family members. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org. The family requests attendees dress casual, for the memorial service. The family invites you to a Dutch Treat luncheon (self-pay) at Spring Creek BBQ, located at 3514 W. Airport Fwy in Irving, immediately following the service.
