Allen Francis Normand, age 87, died peacefully at home, Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was born in Pineville, Louisiana to May 17, 1929 to John and Ruth (Hennigan) Normand. Allen was a United States Army Veteran, who served during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Frances Merrilyn Normand. Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are sons Michael Normand and wife Kathy; David Normand and Craig Normand and wife Elisa; grandsons Matthew Normand, Charlie Fator, Eric Normand and Chris Normand; granddaughters Antonia Singleton and Kendra Laird. A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following.
