Linda K. Austin a long time resident of Grand Prairie passed away January 7, 2017 in her home surrounded by family. She was born on October 11, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Norman Brewer and Sybil Brewer. She worked as a realtor and enjoyed collecting dolls. Preceded in death by her parents, she will be remembered as the world’s best mother by her sons Donald Austin and wife Rachel of Grand Prairie; and David G. Austin of Honolulu, Hawaii. She is also survived by her grandchildren Maryann; Madeline and Hunter; sister Leta Paradise and husband Frank of Spice wood, Texas; brothers Larry Brewer and wife Eve of Spice wood, Texas; and Nathan Brewer of Alma, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home in Irving.
