Obituary for James M. Steele

James M. Steele
James M. Steele, age 80, died Thursday, January 12, 2017. He was born in Gilmer, TX on December 30, 1936. James served in the United States Army, and later worked for Buena Vista Film Distribution for 30 years until his retirement in 1998. He is preceded in death by his parents; left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years Mary Bernice Steele; son Carl Cole and wife Carolyn of Irving; granddaughter Stephanie Cole of Florida; grandson James Michael Byrd of Grand Prairie; granddaughter Mary Michelle Byrd of Austin; great granddaughter Nevaeh Rene Byrd of Oklahoma and sister Mary Jo Thompson of Richland Hills. A funeral will be held 10:00am, Monday, January 16, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following. Visitation will be held between 2:00 and 4:00 pm, Sunday, January 15, 2017 also at the funeral home.
