Casey Sledge of Irving passed away April 1, 2017. He was born on April 27, 1952 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Wickliffe and Laurita (Willoughby) Sledge. Casey served his country in the United States Airforce before beginning a career with Reddy Ice as a tax preparer. He leaves behind to cherish his memory parents Wickliffe and Laurita Sledge of Alvaton, Kentucky; sisters Elaine and Mila Sledge both of Bowling Green, Kentucky; brother Timothy Sledge and wife Jill of Hampton, Virginia; nephews Miles Sledge and wife Sarah of Chesapeake, Virginia; Alex Sledge of Hampton, Virginia; niece Erica Sledge of Hampton, Virginia; great-niece Elizabeth Sledge of Chesapeake, Virginia and special friend Janice Burgess of Irving. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration will follow the visitation beginning at 7:00 pm Wednesday.
