Condolence: Uncle Herbert was a man of few words; and when he spoke, you listened. He taught me about 'consequences' when I was a young girl and I have never forgotten his lesson. He was a strong man of faith and a true disciple of Christ, When The Saints gathered at the river, he was ready. I am glad his suffering is over and he is in his heavenly home waiting to see us on the other side. I know he is so proud of his sons who have demonstrated true Hassell strength, courage and compassion this past week, and his wife who was with him until the end. Love to you all.

Condolence: My uncle Herbert was a sweet man from the innocent times in East Texas. He is with his parents and so many other relatives now. We will miss him but will share many memories of him always.

Condolence: Uncle Herbert was lifted with love yesterday. Those of us left behind will miss him terribly, but I know he went from our loving arms straight into the welcoming arms of his Heavenly family.
