Sissy Allen, age 86, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 surrounded by love. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 12, 1931. Sissy was a member of Beltline Church of Christ, and enjoyed the outdoors, her favorites where bicycling and working in the yard. She is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is husband of 64 years, Bobby Allen; daughter Peggy Styers and spouse Nelson; son Don Allen and spouse Marie; son Lee Wayne Allen and spouse Lukas; 6 granddaughters and numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends. She was a wonderful wife, an outstanding mother and loved by all that knew her. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Beltline Rd. Church of Christ, with interment at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens immediately following. The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00 pm, Friday, April 14, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home.
