Condolences

Condolence From: Robert Lawson
Condolence: I first met Butch in 1993 when I got hired as a 911 operator at IPD. One of the first things that stood out about Butch was his love for his family. Two years later Butch was promoted to Property room supervisor and I transferred soon after to the property room. As a supervisor Butch always expected excellence and for you do your best. He would also make sure the people who worked for him had what they needed or tried his hardest to get it. My prayers to Linda and family.

Condolence: Butch is one of my oldest friends. We spent many a night together on the police department, fighting crime, cold, heat and the bad guys. Butch always had your back and you could always depend on him. He was my first supervisor at the Irving Police Department, and taught me how to "police" and how to stay alive. It's hard to say goodbye, but I am sure he is looking down at us and asking "What's the big deal?" Looking forward to laughing with him again.

Condolence: So sorry for your family's loss. Butch was a good co worker and supervisor at the IPD. He will be missed. Butch is at rest now and he will be waiting in Heaven. Jesus said "Whosoever believes in me will have everlasting life"

Condolence: Butch has been a very close friend and always had a great "outlook" on every detail....the more complicated the better he responded! It was always a pleasure to share our "Golf outings" wherever we played! He could hit a mile or as he said "I do the same with my putter!!" Great Masonic Brother who was always available to teach new candidates, give lectures and confer degrees! He will be sorely missed in every facet of his life and I am going to fulfill his wishes for Loyd Hinch and I to sing at the funeral.... as he believed in the song "In His Arms I'm Not Afraid!" God bless his family members and keep them in your thoughts and Prayers! Tom and Anne Uhr
