Obituary for Joseph "Joe" Estock

Joseph "Joe"  Estock
Joseph “Joe” Estock, age 80, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017. He was born in Manhattan, New York on December 6, 1936. He is survived by his wife, Maria Estock; his daughters, Catherine Clayton and Michelle Gogerty and his grandchildren, Jacob and Cara Clayton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Estock and son-in-law, Daniel Gogerty.
Joe was raised and lived in New York until the age of 29, he then moved to the Dallas area with American Airlines. This is where he met Maria, the love of his life. They married and moved to San Francisco for three years before moving back to the Dallas area where they resided for the last 51 years. His love of airplanes and aviation shined throughout his entire life. Joe served in the United States Air Force and worked at American Airlines as Crew Chief for 40 years until his retirement in 2000. His hobbies included building and flying radio controlled airplanes and remodeling and building things around the house.
A memorial service has been scheduled for Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00am at the Church of the Incarnation at The University of Dallas 1845 E. Northgate Dr., Irving, Texas 75062.
