Carol Stearns, age 72, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, June 30, 2017. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Charles Colvin and Eugunia Capitola (Harrison) Kennard on July 18, 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Henry Chance, son Stephen McDonald and grandson Wyatt McDonald. Left to cherish her memory is daughter Kathy Sprayberry and husband Jay; daughter Amy Mashburn and husband Jon; sister Wanda Pratt; granddaughter Ashley Woolnough and husband Evan; granddaughter Amanda Windham; granddaughter Jordan Cox; grandson Grayson Mashburn; granddaughter Gracie McDonald and grandson Cody McDonald. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, July 3, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Prairie immediately following.
