Linda Kay Wright of Irving passed away August 24, 2017. She was born on April 19, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Emil Mat and Mary Frances (Phelps) Pokladnik. Linda will be remembered as a loving daughter and sister who enjoyed playing her computer games. She is preceded in death by her father. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother Mary Frances King of North Lake, Texas; brothers Daryl Pokladnik of Highland Village, Texas and Dwain Pokladnik of North Lake, Texas; step daughters Debbie Pearson of Sunset, Texas; Donna Mumma and husband George of New Mexico; Sandy Ferrell and Husband Raymond of Chico, Texas and numerous other extended family members. The family will receive friends at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral service which begins at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at 1:00 pm at Laurel Oaks Cemetery in Mesquite.
