William Penn Johnson, Jr. “Bill” of Irving passed away August 24, 2017 in Irving. He was born on August 18, 1931 in Oklahoma to William Penn, Sr. and Mary (Bunch) Johnson. Bill served his country in the United States Navy before working in the aviation industry as an Air Traffic Controller. He is preceded in death by his parents. Left behind to cherish his memory are wife Darlene Johnson of Irving and daughter Penny Johnson of Irving. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
