Condolence: Shirley was a popular and much-loved classmate and member of our Christian Youth Fellowship group at First Christian Church, Durant when I first met her in 1968. We had so much fun together, meeting on Wednesday nights at FCC usually with a sack containing a Number 2 and Tater Tots from Sonic in hand. Other times we made the "drag" together in an endless pattern through downtown Durant from Sonic Drive-In to Sherrer's and back again. We took church bus trips together, singing and laughing all the way there and back. Life was simple and care free and fun...Rest in Peace, sweet friend.

Condolence: This saddens me to hear this news. Shirl was always full of life and had a wit like no other. She had a fierce love for her family and friends alike. She was always so kind to me and I always appreciated that. May God give you and your family comfort that only HE can provide in the coming weeks, months and years.
