Yancy Brazier of Irving passed away September 23, 2017. He was born on April 20, 1931 in Streetman, Texas to Elzie and Marie (Gregory) Brazier. Yancy served his country in the United States Army before working in the Coal Mining industry. He is preceded in death by his parents. Yancy leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife Dorothy Brazier; daughter Chris Kennedy and husband John; son Wayne Brazier; stepdaughters, Debbie Tuberville; Diane McCoy and husband Ken; stepson, Glenn Glover and wife April; brothers Greg Brazier and wife Sue; James Brazier; Doyle Brazier and wife Charlotte; and Ricky Brazier; sister Mary Katherine Prater; eight grand-children and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service with military honors will follow the funeral at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas at 11:30.
