Obituary for James "Outlaw" Wells

James “Outlaw” Wells, age 52, entered the gates of Heaven earlier than expected on Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was born in Ashdown, Arkansas to Carl Lee and Hazel Marie (Clark) Wells on February 7, 1965. James spent his time working on and driving big rig trucks, and was blessed to have a 35-year career, doing what he loved. His enjoyment was found driving the backroads, either in his truck or on his Harley Davidson, listening to country music, feeling the freedom that surrounded him at that moment. James was a good man at heart, a hard worker and always did his best to provide. He had 2 speeds in life, and that was fast and faster. James is preceded in death by his parents, brother Clarence Wells and is now reunited with his beloved dog Chloe. Left to cherish the memories and short time they had with him here on earth, is his wife of 15 years, Sharon Wells; sister Mary Lou Wells and her husband Steve laws; brother Harold Wells and his wife Betty; son Spc. Alec Pace and his wife Caitlin; son Michael Wells; daughters Lindsey Dawes and Amy Wells; his beloved dogs Gemma, Lil-Girl and Poppy along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, November 10, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd., in Irving. The family will receive friend between 6:00 and 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the funeral home.
