Christopher David O’Rear, age 47, died suddenly on Friday, November 3, 2017. Chris was born in Garland, Texas on October 19, 1970 to his parents, Harvey David and Norma Jean (Combs) O’Rear. Chris began his career in furniture sales even before he graduated from Desoto High School. Dallas Cowboys football was his life-long passion, and he enthusiastically followed the team from age five with his Dad and Brother. Every fall he was confident the Cowboys would go on to win the Super Bowl. Chris was known to all for his big heart and willingness to share what he had with anyone who needed a helping hand.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jean, and wife, Amber Allen O’Rear. Left to cherish his memory are parents, David and Linda O’Rear; brother, Tim O’Rear; step-brother Charles Wilcox and family; step- sister, Julie Hickman and family; uncle, Charles Combs; mother-in-law, Darlene Allen, and numerous cousins and other loving family members and friends. While we mourn the loss of Chris, we have the hope in Jesus that, as Believers, we will see him again one day at the throne of God. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home in Irving, TX.
