Don Salyards “Grandpa”, age 89, died Sunday, November 12, 2017. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 18, 1928. Don served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be deeply missed. Don is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patrcia Ann Salyards, sons Michael Anthony and Eddie Salyards and siblings Roy, Grace, Gene and Frank. Left to cherish his memory is son Dana Crouch and wife Lynette; granddaughter Jana Choppy; granddaughter Allison McCann and husband Terry; great grandchildren Rylee Ann, Luca Michael and Julian Augustus along with numerous extended family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living, as well as the staff of Dallas VA. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd., Irving, TX.
