Obituary for Jennifer Lynn "Jen" Richardson

Jennifer Lynn Richardson, entered the gates of Heaven at the young age of 32, on Sunday, November 5, 2017. She left this world peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family and closest friends, after a 4-year long fight against cervical cancer. Jen was born in Greenville, Texas to George Christopher Richardson and Vickie Hendon on October 2, 1985. At a young age, she moved to Irving, where she was raised, and continued to call home the remainder of her life. Jen’s greatest enjoyment in life was spending family time with her husband Chas, and her 4 beautiful children, whom she loved and adored. Her happiest moments where times spent with them at the park, going to the lake, camping, barbequing and just being outside. Many of these precious moments where enhanced, by the attendance of friends and loved ones. Jen is preceded in death by her father, both sets of grandparents, grandma and grandpa Mattie and Charles Hendon. Left to cherish her memory and the short time they had with her is her mother Vickie; husband Chas Sherman; sons Dominic Martinez and Jeremiah Nero; daughters Annjuly and Jasmine Nero; sisters Angie, Christy, Stephanie and Elizabeth; brothers Zachary and Joshua; her second parents, mother and father in law Yvonne & Gerald Knight; sister in law Angelica Martinez; brother in laws Gabriel Martinez and Kelton Sherman; 13 nieces, 9 nephews along with numerous extended family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Jen’s life and the impact she left on all of ours, will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 2409 Coulee St., Irving, Texas 75062.
