John S. Roddam of Denton passed away December 27, 2017. He was born on January 20, 1947 in Greenville, Texas to Wilford Roddam and Margaret (Mann) Roddam . John served his country in the United States Navy before starting his career in the electronics field as a computer operator. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Gloria Jean Roddam. Left behind to cherish his memory are sons John Roddam and wife Amy of Justin, Texas; Jason Roddam of Bedford; sisters Patricia Loposer; and Susan Roddam both of Plano; brother Clifford Roddam and wife Avis also of Plano; grandchildren Addison, Brooke and Dylan Roddam. Family to receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral service at 11:00 am at Brown’s Memorial Chapel. A committal service with military honors will follow at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
