Lucinda 'Cindy' Yonce Sanders, age 69, died on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Lucinda was born on January 15, 1949 in Andalusia, Alabama to Roy Percy Yonce and Freida (DeMent) Yonce. She was a former teacher with the Irving Independent School District, and member of St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church in Irving. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Sr. (2004). Left to cherish her memory are Frank Gilbert “Bert” Sanders Jr. of McKinney, TX; sister Suzilee “Susu” Draper and husband Fred of Anniston, AL; brother Pete Yonce and wife Mary Lee Rice of Chattanooga, TN; nephews Nat Yonce, Jack Draper and his wife Wendy and their children Lily Grace, Harper Lee, and Mary Yonce Draper. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home 707 North MacArthur Blvd., Irving, TX 75061. A funeral service will be held on Monday February 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. An interment will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 10:15 AM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
