When my mother (Vivian's across-the-street-neighbor) was 92 and Vivian was 102, I asked if she had any advice for Mother who wasn't feeling well. Vivian told her that she needed to eat... "because it makes them happy". She knew that we "youngsters" were worried about them. We all shared a good laugh and I appreciated that from her.
