Marlon  McDuffie
Marlon McDuffie of Irving passed away February 27, 2018. Marlon was born on June 2, 1960 in Emporia, Kansas to Maxwell Ray McDuffie and Loyette (Bass) McDuffie. He will be remembered as a loving father, Bda, husband, brother, uncle and as a true man of God. Marlon was an ordained minister, loved Jesus with all his heart, and had a passion for sharing the love of Jesus all over the world. Marlon loved to play and watch all kinds of sports. He is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Lori McDuffie of Irving; sons Max McDuffie and wife Dani; Sam McDuffie and Jon McDuffie all of Irving. Grandchildren Azariah and Elisha; brothers Mike McDuffie and wife Karen; Scott McDuffie & wife Melanie; Monty McDuffie and wife Marianne; father and mother-in-law Lynn and Mary Helen Shackelford; best friend Jon Dunn and countless other family members and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Marlon’s life will be held 10:00am, Monday, March 5, 2018 at Gateway Church, 2404 N. Carrier Pkwy. in Grand Prairie.
