John Cannedy Sr., age 80, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family Friday, March 2, 2018. He was 1 of 11 boys born to Gaylon and Grace (Pullman) Cannedy in Sawyer, Oklahoma on February 20, 1938. John was a loving husband, father, brother and friend, who enjoyed watching westerns, cookouts and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers, Joe, Giles, George and Lestol Cannedy. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Dorothy (Leach) Cannedy; son John Cannedy Jr.; daughter Linda Kile; 6 brothers Gaylon Jr., Carl David, Daryl Wayne, Roy Samuel, James Earl and Jefferson Floyd Cannedy; beloved dog Halo and many other extended family and friends.
