I am shocked by this sad news. Bryan was passionate about teaching science, and passionate about his students' learning. There are no words to express the grief his family is going through. He is fondly remembered by our students and teachers that shared the school year he was with us.

When someone becomes a parent, a powerful, all-encompassing force courses through the body, and the conditions for how one describes love is limitless. Unconditional love is a constant in a parent-child relationship, and one thing that I have always known about Bryan is how much he loved and cared for his two children. Comfort is seldom found during times of grief, but as the years go by, and Amanda sees their children grow, the effects of Bryan's unconditional love will become apparent.
