Robert P Medina died Friday, July 20, 2018 surrounded by family at a Carrollton Hospice. On May 8, 1944, he was born in Dallas, Texas to Carmen Joe Medina and Jesusa (Porres) Medina. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of over forty years, Mamie LaFontain Medina in 2011. Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter Melinda Morgan and her husband Rick, of Marietta, Oklahoma; son CJ Medina, of Irving, Texas; brother Richard Medina and wife Gilda, of Carrollton; sister Mary Hopper an husband Jack, of Irving, Texas; grandchildren Jessica Williams and her husband Russell, Meagan Wilson and husband Bryan, Dillon Sampson and Catherine Medina; great grandchildren include Presley Beck, Brynn Wilson, Harper Williams and Jett Wilson.
The family will receive friends at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a time of reflection at 7:00 pm. Burial to take place at McAlister Cemetery in Overbrook, Oklahoma at Noon on Thursday, July 26, 2018.
