Obituary for Greg Jones
Greg Jones, age 60, died on Friday, August 24, 2018. Greg was born on February 23, 1958 in Lake Village, Arkansas to Thomas Lee Jones and Doris Marie Tyler. Greg spent his working career in the welding industry working as a trailer repairman. Greg was a sports fanatic; his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Mavericks. He enjoyed fishing and playing bingo. Greg loved his family, although a workaholic, he was a good provider; he was a big family person and made friends wherever he was. Greg is preceded in death by his grandmother Emma Rodgers and grandfather Ben Rodgers. Left to cherish his memory are his mother and father; step-father CJ Tyler; son Seimon Jones; 1 grandchild and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers Thomas Jones and wife Shirley, Rick Jones and wife Carmen, Ben Tyler and wife Jackie, Tyrone Jones and wife Sherida; sisters Dorothy Tyler and fiancé Leroy, Rita Tyler, Vivian Tyler, Central King and husband Dale, Sharon Tyler and fiancé Bobby Jones; as well as many other loving friends and extended family. A visitation will be between 1:00 and 3:00pm, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving.
