Erlinda Barlolong Bernardez, age 79, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 16, 2018. She was born on Saturday, August 19, 1939 in Panaga, Philippines to Felipe and Maura (Bautista) Barlolong. Erlinda enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking for her family. During her work as a registered nurse, she worked in all different areas but found the most joy working in the maternity ward. She will lovingly be remembered as a caring, nurturing and loving wife, mother and grandmother who was happiest when she was spending time with her grandkids and family. Erlinda is preceded in death by her parents Felipe and Maura, sisters Mila, Perla and Victoria and one daughter Renee. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 53 years, Romeo Bernardez; son Roland Bernardez M.D.; daughter Ruth Kubajak and husband Paul; son Robb Bernardez; grandchildren Zander Kubajak and Quentin Kubajak; brothers Remy Barolong and Rudy Barolong as well as numerous extended family and friends.
