Condolence: I liked seeing that I was flying with Sam. He had complete command of all details involved with flying the plane and you knew that if anything wasn't measuring up, Sam would straighten "it" or "them" out promptly. So sorry for you loss.

Condolence: I truly appreciated Sam's dedication to his family, his kindness, and his love for music, his wit and love for doing things like flying that so many of us would only dare to dream. l hear him as though saying, at the end of Gary Stokor's "Impressions of a Pilot" these words : "I leave you with this thought, that when from here we take our flight, to that place of endless light, that place were angels dance and sway and sing; and lift us up on gilded wings, remember, I was born to soar and in His arms fly ever more.
