Brandon Whitney, entered the gates of Heaven at the young age of 24, on Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 28, 1993. Brandon, was a lifelong member of Fundamental Baptist Church in Irving and was known for his big heart and love of helping others. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching funny YouTube videos, as well as tinkering and fixing things. Brandon is reunited with his 2 brothers Jeremy and Jerry Freestone and grandparents Laverne Armstrong and Harold McSwain. Left to cherish his memory and the small time they had with him are his mother Deborah Sue Whitney; sister Stephanie Bell and her spouse Kenny; brother Richard Shropshire and his spouse Toshia, their children Jaden and Taylor; 2nd parents Steve and LaCora McSwain and their child Makayla; grandpa LeeRoy Armstrong; grandma Ann McSwain along with numerous extended loving family and friends. The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00pm, Monday, April 2, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving. A funeral service will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Fundamental Baptist Church, 1119 W. Shady Grove Rd., with an interment immediately following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E.
