Rosemary Tipton Luce of Bedford passed away June 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 5, 1937 in Tyler, Texas to Quentin Roosevelt Tipton and Lillian Ruth (Mickler) Tipton. Rosemary attended Church of The Apostles in Coppell. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmie Luce, son Timothy Luce; and brother Alex Tipton. Left behind to cherish her memory are daughter Lauri Matthews and husband William of Coppell; brother Terry Tipton and wife Nancy of New Mexico; sister Teresa Tipton of San Antonio; brother Eric Tipton of San Antonio; granddaughter Sarah Matthews and many other extended family members and friends. Rosie was a determined and loving person, who as a young widow, helped launch her teenaged children into the world. Later in life, she overcame breast cancer. Rosie loved dancing, going to the movies, eating out, and being with her family and friends, especially granddaughter, Sarah. She also enjoyed shopping and could always find the right outfit for friends or family. Rosie had an energetic, entertaining spirit. A memorial service will be held 3:00pm on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Church of The Apostles 322 South MacArthur Blvd. in Coppell with Reverend Timothy Cherry officiating.
